RELEX Processor offers accurate inventory control that maximizes service levels while minimizing inventories.

RELEX Processor’s cutting edge forecasting and inventory control logic enables efficient and reliable replenishment even in very challenging situations, such as during seasons, new product introductions, or promotions. RELEX Processor takes inventory control down to the item and location level, considering each product’s, each location’s, and each supplier’s individual characteristics in a way that allows for extremely accurate control – accurate enough to support automatic replenishment of fresh goods.

Through its excellent usability and high level of automation, RELEX Processor significantly reduces the resource and time commitment of inventory replenishment. The system conducts all relevant inventory management calculations – setting of safety stock parameters, selection of forecasting models, economic batch size calculations, and selection of the most efficient delivery options – automatically, on behalf of the user. In addition, automatic system alerts and exception management logic increase process efficiency. Furthermore, the system’s unique search and sort functionality supports management of large amounts of items. Clear reports and graphs make the system easy to use.

RELEX Processor enables significant savings through holistic optimization of logistics costs. The system performs batch size optimization, which minimizes the total cost of shipping, storage, and handling. In addition, coordinated ordering supports full truckload deliveries from suppliers or filling containers with goods from suppliers located in the same region. This enables significant savings in shipping costs. The system can also be used to select the most cost-efficiency delivery option when several delivery channels are applicable.

Using RELEX Processor

RELEX Processor works together with the customer’s back-end system, typically an enterprise resource planning (ERP) or point of sale (POS) system. Sales data, inventory records, and different kinds of product master data are transmitted from the back-end system to RELEX Processor. Replenishment orders or order suggestions are transmitted from RELEX Processor to the back-end system. RELEX Processor can easily be integrated with most common ERP and POS systems. Examples of back-end systems which have been linked to RELEX Processor are: SAP R/3, Automaster, Proteus, Profix, and Microsoft Dynamics AX.

RELEX Processor is offered on a turnkey basis (ASP or SaaS), which means that the customer simply uses the software and we provide the required servers, take care of software and hardware maintenance, and take responsibility for back-ups and other necessary system precautions. However, if desired, the system can also be installed on the customer’s own server.
