New white paper on store replenishment
RELEX’s Development Director Johanna Småros and CEO Mikko Kärkkäinen have written a white paper on store replenishment: “Better profitability through improved store replenishment”.
“According to many studies, shelf availability in grocery retail is as low as 92% on average, and the situation is typically even worse in specialty retail. The main reason for poor shelf availability is problems in store ordering. In this paper, we explain how shelf availability can be improved through computer-assisted ordering. We also discuss how automated store ordering can be used to reduce the time spent on ordering and to improve product handling efficiency,” Johanna explains. Mikko continues: “The paper also contains concrete examples of benefits that our customers have attained as well as factors that need to be taken into consideration when automating store ordering.”
