RELEX's Ville Pätynen receives international award
RELEX’s Ville Pätynen received the bronze award in the annual Academic Award competition of ECR Europe. The competition is open to all under- and postgraduate students currently studying in or recently graduated from a European University. The award was presented at the annual conference of ECR Europe held in Milano. The conference was attended by more than a thousand participants from different countries. Ville’s price-winning paper examined the applicability of automatic store replenishment in different branches of the special products retail store sector.
RELEX’s team has also previously participated in ECR’s Academic Award competition. In the year 2000 Johanna Småros won the Academic Award competition. In 2002 Mikko Kärkkäinen came third and in 2005 Michael Falck received the silver award.
